About the Web Awards
Brighton & Hove, the digital city by the sea, has over 500 websites produced in and about life in the city. There are sites for businesses, communities, artists, galleries, school, bands, pubs, news and lots lots more.
This is the seventh annual Web Awards, celebrating the talent behind some of the best websites in Brighton & Hove, raising the profile of the city and rewarding the best websites across a range of categories.
How it works
Anyone can nominate any Brighton & Hove related website (Conditions of Entry). Each person who nominates a website will automatically be entered into our prize draw to win two tickets to the Awards ceremony in November. The awards are judged by a combination of experts and members of the public. The websites that make it onto the judges short-list are then voted for by thousands of local web-surfers.
The winners of each category will be announced at the glittering awards ceremony held in Sallis Bennys, as part of Brighton Digital Festival. Last year over 160 people attended the Awards Ceremony which took place at Fabrica, including guests from local businesses, community organisations and public bodies.
The Brighton and Hove Web Awards are part of the Brighton Digital Festival.
